Project : Lake House Kitchen Renovation

This kitchen footprint was enlarged to join a walk-through pantry and mudroom for more connectivity and better traffic flow, and updated with sophisticated design details to create a bright and warm kitchen with a soft contemporary appeal.

By adding a bump out to the back of the home, we were able to enlarge the kitchen footprint, creating various zones in the kitchen for washing, prepping and cooking, allowing for multiple people to be using the kitchen at once. Another unique feature is the hidden powder room door that was integrated into the wall paneling on the backside of the kitchen for privacy.

As noted by our client, “It’s really brought our whole family into the cooking. Now we’ve got such a huge space to gather around and it’s become command central, especially for the mornings.”

This home was the winner of the 2022 Bild Alberta Awards for Best New Kitchen Under $100K and was featured in the Calgary Herald.
